To provide orientation for parents on the importance of the study of a foreign
language and to disseminate step-by-step procedures on how they can introduce
the teaching of Italian in public and private schools.
- To provide updated information on grants, scholarships, workshops, seminars, conferences
and meetings of interest to teachers and students.

To furnish technical assistance in applying for grants and other funding sources.

To promote teacher training activities and seminars for professional enrichment.

To establish a network for the collection of data to monitor the study of
Italian throughout the U.S.

To foster students, teachers and principals exchanges with Italian schols at various levels
